Does it actually fit under a helmet?
Yes. The outer is a thin four-way stretch knit and the fleece lining is soft and low-profile, so there is no bulk at the crown. Goggles sit straight over the eye openings.
Is it warm enough for a real cold day?
Yes. The fleece lining traps heat against your face and the mask seals the neck gap, so it stays warm on the lift and on the way down.
What is it made of?
A breathable four-way stretch poly-spandex outer with a soft fleece lining inside. The print is dyed into the fabric, so it does not crack, peel, or fade in the wash.
Will it fit me?
One size fits most adults. The knit stretches a long way in both directions and pulls back to shape. If you wear a large helmet, it still fits.
Can I breathe properly in it?
Yes. The mouth area is open knit, so you breathe through the fabric the same way you would through a gaiter.
How do I wash and dry it?
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, inside out. No bleach, no fabric softener (it clogs the knit and kills breathability). Hang or lay flat to dry. Never tumble dry or iron.
Will it fog my goggles or get wet from my breath?
Tuck the mask under the goggle foam, not over it, so your breath leaves through the knit instead of rising into the lens. On long lift rides, pull the mouth down for a minute to let moisture out, and carry it in a dry pocket.
